NMR Facility Director
Purdue University
Purdue University announces its intention to search for a new Director
to lead its campus-wide NMR facility. This individual will have a
proven track record and will be responsible for engaging faculty and
students in state-of-the-art NMR experiments and for implementing and
developing innovative methodologies.
A collaborative and creative individual with the desire and energy to
expand the capabilities of the facility and its user base is essential.
The ideal candidate will challenge students to expand their range of NMR
expertise and foster new experiments.
This individual will be assisted by the facility's professional staff to
help implement the strategic vision of the facility. Candidates are
expected to have a broad knowledge of NMR experiments and pulse
sequences, versatility with computer software and NMR hardware, and good
management and communication skills.
