NMR SPECTROSCOPIST - Arizona State University. Assist Director of NMR
facility in training users in basic as well as advanced techniques; operate,
repair and maintain 4 high-field nmr and 15 Unix computer systems;
collaborate with faculty in research; modify software and hardware to meet
teaching and research demands; assist with design of experiments,
acquisition of spectra, and interpretation of data; actively participate in
the continued development of state-of-the-art capabilities at ASU. Salary
will be competitive and commensurate with expertise. The ASU NMR facility is
well-equipped for biomolecular NMR and/or solid-state NMR experiments.
Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry or closely related discipline
required, with two or more years experience in the operation and use of NMR
spectrometers, Unix computers and NMR and molecular modeling software
(either during the Ph.D. program of thereafter). See
