STAFF NMR SPECTROSCOPIST.

We anticipate a permanent, full time position for a collaborative NMR
spectroscopist to become available within the next several months. The
successful candidate will work within the NMR group at the NIEHS on the
structural characterization of proteins and other biomolecules related
to the research program of the institute. Candidates for this position
must have demonstrated record of achievement in the area of
determination of protein structures using NMR techniques, specifically
including the implementation of pulse sequences required for
multi-dimensional analysis and the use of assignment and structure
programs to derive 3D structures from NOE and other constraints.
Experience in the areas of protein expression, purification, and
site-directed mutagenesis is also a plus. Available instrumentation
currently includes six Varian spectrometers including an INOVA 600 and
Unityplus 500. The NIEHS is one of the component institutes of the
National Institutes of Health, and is located in Research Triangle
Park, NC. Interested applicants should send CVs and a list of
references to either Dr. Robert London (MR-01, NIEHS, Box 12233, RTP,
NC 27709, or to Dr. Eugene DeRose (MR-02, NIEHS, Box 12233, RTP, NC
27709).
