We're involved with an educational initiative to run samples for
chemistry labs in small Iowa colleges. It would be best if they
prepared the samples and put them into 5mm tubes because its good
experience for them (and bad experience for me :). Does anyone
have a good way to transport these samples? I'd like to put them
in overnight mail and avoid the road trip. Do we need to use screw
cap tubes? I think that 30-60 samples in CDCl3 will be involved each time.

Returning to the topic (well they are outside users and it will
effect the rate), Iowa law requires us to aid and assist Iowa companies.
We set the rate at $50/hour, don't advertise, and treat them like Rich
does. Any inquiries are always told of commercial alternatives, but
none are located in Iowa. A former student made use of this for several
years, but has persuaded his company to purchase an nmr. Now if I can
talk him into becoming a commercial vendor,,,,,
