Yes, Windows NT (4.0) seems to be the way that many (Bruker, Tecmag,
even NMRPipe) seem to be heading, and that's great, but I frankly would
like to see xwinnmr (and other "NMR Suite" programs) available on
Linux or FreeBSD platforms for i386 or Alpha based PC's.
I approached Wolfgang Bermel of Bruker at the ENC regarding this at least
to show that there are interests for other platforms (cheap or free) out
there,
and I was wondering if I can hear any echoes from you managers out there.

Please respond to me (so as to not burn up Rich's server), and if there're

enough of you I'll post a summary of how many people want xwinnmr or
vnmr in more flavors. Or at least inching towards platform independence
(thumbs up for "NmrView on Java" poster at the ENC, by the way),
rather than continuing to fatten up that one guy who seems to be resisting

platform independence.
