AMMRLers,
our almost 24 year old DPX-300 is giving an error message when trying to
wobb or execute rga saying "Signal too strong despite of smallest
receiver gain". Power cycling the console or using the hppr/rx22
service tools did not resolve anything. Logging int spec and running
aqxtest diagnostic did not produce any errors.
I am able to get proton spectra using rg=1 and a p1 of about 10% of my
normal p90, but with very low signal. Increasing p1 to anything near
normal will give clear signals of receiver overflow, even with minimum
rg and trying different samples. Lock signal looks normal.
My next step would be to try swapping boards with ones I have sitting
around from a decommissioned DRX500, but maybe someone in this group had
a similar problem and was able to solve it.
Thanks
