Dear NMR People,
I have been experiencing an intermittent problem on an AVANCE III HD 600 NMR spectrometer with a cryoprobe for 1H acquisitions which I have been unable to sort out. The spectrometer is run with TOPSPIN 3.5 pl6 under WINDOWS. The problem is as follows:
An 'rga' command (usually (but not always) in automation under ICONNMR) will run and return the following message:
'This RG value has already been tried before therefore RG is now fixed to 1.00'
The problem is that the best RG value is much higher and therefore the data aren't of optimum quality. This does not always happen but it seems to happen more frequently in ICONNMR than by simply typing the 'rga' command in TOPSPIN.
Has anyone encountered this annoyance and if so, how did you fix it?
