Dear Colleagues,
We are going to decommission our four-channel Varian Inova 500
spectrometer. The console (20 MHz IF) is 18 years old with xyz gradients.
The magnet is non-shielded and 29 years old; Oxford, the round bottom, the
label 60713, 98736, DLN0300/34/2. The room temperature shim stack is newer,
18 years old, with 28 shim coils.
Regarding the console, two boards of the shim power supply stopped working
properly. All other parts are fine.
The magnet is in pretty good shape. If all RT shims are set to zero, a
lineshape of the water signal of the sucrose sample (2 mM sucrose in 90%H2
O/10%D2O) shows the following values: 115 Hz at 50%, 606 Hz at 0.55%, and
678 Hz at 0.11%. We have original charging sticks and all original magnet
restrains.

also have 5 different probes for this spectrometer: 5 mm TR/PFG, Model Part
# 0190590500; 5 mm SW BB, Model Part # 993375-00, Schematic 87-195830, Rev
G; 5 mm ID 500 (20-202), Model Part # 968629, Serial # 207, Schematic
8717878400, Rev D; 5 mm 1H, 19F, Model Part # 968055-01, Serial # 244,
Schematic 87-178754, Rev A; 10 mm BB 500 (20-202), Model Part # 968464,
Serial # 217, Schematic 87-178780, Rev A.
If you are interested in this spectrometer or any of the parts please let
me know.
Sincerely,
Jaroslav
