AMMRL: NMR position at UCLA

Dear All,

 

     The UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks a highly
motivated individual to provide all aspects of technical support for the
application of Magnetic Resonance methods to assist in the solution of a
wide range of research problems in chemistry, biochemistry and medical
science. Under the general direction of the Director of the Molecular
Instrumentation Center (MIC; www.mic.ucla.edu), the successful candidate
will be expected to: operate, maintain, and provide minor troubleshooting of
magnetic resonance equipment; train research users and students with
various, appropriate backgrounds; provide support for actively improving the
available methods, instrumentation and ancillary equipment; and provide
laboratory management support. Applicants must have demonstrated skill in
the application of modern NMR methods, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills are essential for the
interaction with a variety of researchers with varying scientific
