Sorry to be a little late with this, but I want to thank everyone who replied to my request about Sun Ultra 1. I had a number of replies offering me old Ultra 1's and/or parts also a couple of sources for purchasing them:
http://www.anysystem.com/sun.html
http://www.sunstuff.org/hardware/systems/sun4/sun4u/ULTRA1/
www.recurrent.com
And of course.....EBAY!!
I also found out that there were more than one model of Ultra 1's out there and the graphic boards are different on them. Mine is an Ultra 1 Creator (red letters in front)and the graphics board is the same as an Ultra 2.
I finally got the right part from anysystem.com and got the computer and d the system running again.
Once again, thank you all for your suggestions, sending me parts and helping me get the instrument back up in a fairly short time. And as I have always said this is an AWSOME group!!

Subject: AMMRL: Sun Ultra 1?
Does anyone out there have an old Sun Ultra 1 lying around or knows where to get one? Mine died (I think it is the graphics card) today and I need to get it working again. I have tried several times to change over the LINUX/PC solution, but there is always a bug issue with vnmrj, communication problems, etc. So I still need to run the instrument(INOVA 400, circa 1997)with the Sun.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
