Thanks to all, Allan, Eugenio, Rudi, Scott and Shaoxiong in particular, who
have responded to my inquiry below about Default User Account on Varian
Systems.
After testing a few suggested methods, I found that the scripts written by
Eugenio [ealva_at_umich.edu] for creating and removing VnmrJ user accounts
completely satisfy my requirements. The makeVJuser script copies exactly
what is set in the default or template VnmrJ account. Creating a new user
account with the script takes less than one minute, compared to 10-15
minutes I used to spend on each new user account.
The AMMRL is an awesome resource!

I wonder if anybody out there has an easy way for creating walkup user
accounts on Varian NMR systems running VNMRJ 2.3A under RHEL, for example,
based on a default (or template) user account which has all the right
configurations and settings. Right now, I have to configure users' accounts
one by one, which is no fun.
