AMMRL: Charging cryomagnet

Our BCN-70 turned 30 this year. The last time we had it
above 60 Amps, the super switch wouldn't close. Probably
too much ripple to let the switch chill. Leaving it at
half field wasn't a popular option, so the man from Oxford
finished the job. We will soon be moving many of our
systems to a new building. Anything we have above 7T takes
more than 60 Amps, but we haven't been able to locate
a rentable power supply. Do you either have or know
of a rentable power supply?
It is possible to purchase power supplies to charge
supercons. Cryomagnetics sells a 4G-100/SHIM, but
are unsure if they work with old Oxford/Spectrospin
magnets. LakeShore doesn't acknowledge cryo shims.
Have you heard of anyone using these supplies?
Oxford sells an e1-121/010 supply for around $27k.
If we can justify it, contact us next year if you
want to rent one :).

I stumbled over a stored box with a dozen rolls
of graphic controls/charts inc chart paper, PR-511.
I think it was used in a Watanabe plotter.
If anyone wants it, its free to a good home.

thanks,
