Hello everyone,

last week our 200MHz Gemini magnet suffered a "partial quench", possibly on one or more of the cryoshims.
I was somewhat expecting it since this magnet has never really gone through any refurbishing for the last 16-17 years...

I am looking into options into fixing the cryoshims only or refurbishing the entire magnet to repair/change seals.

Does anyone have experience with another company to do this, other than Varian?

I need a couple of pricing options and would like to get some suggestions.

Thank you
Have a nice day

Leila
