Hello all!
Would any of you happen to have gramicidin available- either the free
chemical or a NMR sample? We would like to us it as a sample in our
Organic Spectroscopy class- NMR application specifically, but can't
find it available on the open market. Aldrich got theirs from Bosche
who no longer supplies gramicidin anymore apparently. It is sometimes
used as a NMR standard for biological NMR applications by vendors.
So, if you happen to have a small amount (few hundred milligrams
would be nice) or a NMR tube sample available, we would be happy to
purchase, rent or borrow it. A clue to where we may be able to
purchase a sample of gramicidin if it is still on the market would be
appreciated as well.
