Hi,
We have had months of problems with XWINNMR 3.5 and the "FLEXlm" license. A
new PC, license for XWINNMR/XWINPLOT, and hardware (to connect the PC to our
Avance DPX-400) were obtained from Bruker and installed by Bruker. Many
months later we still do not have a FLEXlm license that actually works and
(we think) that XWINPLOT is not fully functioning (as opposed to what - I
have read the bitter history of posts that crucify XWINPLOT).
My questions:
Are we the only people to experience problems with FLEXlm?
Is the FLEXlm license linked to the functioning or non-functioning nature of
XWINPLOT?
And finally.....
With luck, we will order a new solids spectrometer and a new liquids
spectrometer this year - I am familiar with Bruker and Varian systems, I
need to know about the experiences of NMR managers with the JEOL Delta
software, I am interested to know how NMR managers find this software in
automation for a walk-up service using traditional 5mm NMR tubes, and for
post-processing (do students find DELTA simple and intuitive?).
All rants and raves are welcomed - anonymity assured.
Cheers,
Mark
ps. my spell checker just suggested "WINNER" for
XWINNMR........................I pressed "Ignore All"
