Faculty Position, Biophysical Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry at the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks to fill a tenure-track position in
biophysical chemistry at the Assistant Professor level, starting Fall 2002.
Candidates who are interested in the structural determination of
biomolecules using NMR are especially encouraged to apply. Our department
has 600, 500, and 300 MHz NMR spectrometers; a new 400 MHz NMR spectrometer
will be installed in 2002. All applicants should have a demonstrated
research record, the potential for establishing a significant externally
funded research program, and an interest in undergraduate and graduate
teaching. Preference will be given to those whose interests complement
current research in the department. Candidates should submit a letter of
application, curriculum vita, and statement of research interests, and
should also arrange to have three letters of reference sent to the search
