Thanks to all that responded with the many choices for monitor
replacement. I went with the NEC LCD1850E black. Price from Computer3G
was 775 dollars. Did I get a good price????
The swap was 1 to 1. No special changes . I had to use the cable they
supplied as I couldnt put the cover over the I/O panel on back of the
monitor. The RFI donut was too big.
Great rendition and plenty of ooooh and ahhhhhhh.
The one problem I have is that after a long time it flashes that there
is no signal on the D-connector. If I move the mouse it comes back to
the login screen. Doesnt affect the operation but does make for some
concern to the user. Anyone know how to stop this??? Is it a UNIX
thing??
