MRI Scientist
The NIH MRI Research Facility (NMRF) and the Mouse Imaging Facility
(MIF) in the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke
offers state-of-the-art MRI for users throughout the NIH. NMRF and
MIF are seeking a MRI Scientist to perform animal MRI and MRS
experiments with the NIH user base. Existing MR equipment for animals
consists of two 4.7T horizontal bore systems, a 300 MHz widebore
microimaging system, and a 7T 20 cm system is being procured. The
successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in
developing MR techniques for use in animals and in particular mice.
Experience in pulse programming, constructing rf probes, and
developing software for analysis of MR data is highly desirable.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
