Gemini to Mercury Upgrade vs Broadband Probe Upgrade

Does anyone have experience/advice with a Gemini 300 mHz(upgraded to a Gemini
2000) C/H upgrade to a Mercury 4 nucleus system or a Gemini 2000 broadband probe
upgrade? Are the user probe tunings for F and P detrimental to instrument
performance? Any speculation on Gemini parts availability past the seven year
legal limit.(our machine was built in 1987)?
