I call it nmrbills and it needs to be run as root. Now that it is summer,
I'm trying to get my crontabs the way I like them and today's project is
understanding the difference between wtmp and wtmpx. The latter gets pretty
big and I want to zap it periodically, but I don't want to mess with wtmp
because the vnmr_accounting gets its info there.
The official Solaris system administration manuals don't seem very good.
I'm getting better info from Nemeth, Snyder, Seebass & Hein. I should
improve my unix skill set a lot this summer - setting up Redhat 6.0 linux
at home and may play with Solaris x86 and FreeBSD as well. Don't clutter
the list with it, but any chatter from you on these projects would be
welcome by me.
