This is an interesting debate about the merits of unix vs. NT,
but I believe the reason Bruker are moving to NT is due to the fact
that SG are! This is no big problem (I think!) for Bruker since they
have a lot of experience with producing s/w for Intel based systems
e.g. WIN-NMR and its accompanying programs.
I would guess the major hurdle for Bruker has been to port their
acquisition s/w to the new platform.
