All- We have a VNMRS 500 that has multiple failures. In the past it had a failure
of the VFS channel 1 and we reconfigured it to work with one channel on a PTS 620
and the other channel on the CH2 of the VFS which still worked. The system was
working fine this way for many months.

Yesterday we were getting weird lock issues with "S/N to low" errors when finding Z0.
When trying to run any experiment subsequently we would get the following message -
Warning: Some pulse sequence requested controller(s) are absent and we could detect
no signals on lock or both high and low band channels. Also the Ch B of the power
amp went into overheat condition.

So we had a PTS 500 on hand with the proper ethernet adapter card and a spare amp.
I installed them both and the ".. controller(s) absent message went away and I
could see on an oscilloscope that the frequency was controlled and changing properly
on this newly installed PTS lowband channel. I did config properly setting Ch2 from VFS
to a PTS 500 lowband. Although I'm not sure what good it did but I ran setacq with no errors.

Here are my Power Supply Voltages:
3.3 3.34
5.0 4.97
7.6 7.78
10.5 10.93
-10.5 -10.73
15.0 15.29
-15.0 -15.24
24.0 24.13

I'm not sure whether any of these are out of tolerance or not but there was
less than a couple mV ac on any of these power supplies. Any thoughts come
to mind from any of you?

Thanks,
Robert
