Aloha Everyone,
Our college is looking at establishing charge accounts for NMR usage. I'm
looking for any advice that I could use to help calculate a "reasonable"
service fee that could potentially cover cryogen fills, service contracts
and my time running samples and training new users? Maybe covering all of
these expenses is not reasonable. However, there is a need to recuperate
some of the college funds for maintaining the instruments. Any advice,
breakdown or formulas would be helpful if you are willing to share. Also,
how would these rates differ from internal and external users/service (how
to calculate the higher rate for external users)?
