Hi,

may I use this occasion to ask for a possible source of such liquid nitrogen sensors. In principle these devices
are not that difficult. Two coaxial arranged stainless steel tubes and a device to measure the capacity.
Even more, the length of such a nitrogen level meter should be easily adjustable.
Nevertheless I didn’t succeed so far searching for such a device.
Responsible for meanwhile 12 magnets I would be happy to keep an overview concerning the cryogens
with a keystroke.
For helium it’s generally easy and for some newer magnets for nitrogen as well.

Greetings

Rainer

Hi, Spinlanders:
We have a Bruker 500 system with a Magnex magnet. The nitrogen level sensor has become very erratic, but seems to be remediable by wiggling the cable that goes from the magnet to the display unit. We presume that it may be a faulty cable or connection. Does anyone know where we might purchase a new or used but functional cable? Magnex seems to have disappeared.
Thanksl,
Robin Kinnel
