Hi all,
I am sure it would require actually buying some parts (preamp, receiver board?) but can I use parts from a unity to add a third channel to a vnmrs? I assume I can use the amp, and after looking at the system config panel in vnmrj (2.2c) it looks like I can also use the pts (frequency source is an option for each channel and along with the standard direct drive, pts is an option).
Has anyone tried this? Can anyone shed some light (or guess) as to what I might need? The goal here is to be able to use a triple resonance probe with our presently two-channel vnmrs, which replaced a four-channel unity.
Also, we have a nanoprobe which was probably never used, but I found the pneumatics and tach controller box from the unity buried in a drawer in the lab. Any hope of connecting it to the vnmrs and actually getting vnmrj to accept it?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might have.
