Folks,
We have an old Varian Gemini 2000 system that we would like to upgrade to
a Sun Blade 150 computer, but we do not have CD's for the Solaris 8
operating system (HW 5/03 or later?) that can be installed on this computer.
(Recall that Solaris 9 and later do not work due to an issue with the
ethernet communication to the console.) Has anyone out there kept a media
kit for Solaris 8 for a Blade that they no longer need and would be willing
to donate/sell to this lumbering dinosaur? The original Sparc 4 from 12
years ago is something that even a dino can't stand anymore.
