Oh mighty NMR ones,
I'm looking for information. I have a Varian Inova 600 with a cold probe. I'm running 13C-HSQCs on non-labeled protein samples. During the later part of the acquisition and at what appears to be random times, I see receiver gain overflow, which is putting nasty streaks in the data. It appears to happen on one transient (maybe more in longer acquisitions) in an increment. I tightened a connection and the problem seemed to disappear for shorter runs, but still appears over time in long runs (>1 hour). Has anyone out these seen this problem? N15 HSQCs are not affected by the problem.
