Hello, fellow NMR'rs:

I'm new to this listserv and even greener when it comes to NMR. So I
hope you'll bear with me.

We have a Bruker ACF-300 that has been "upgraded" with a DSpect unit
from Tecmag, together with a Dell PC with Windows NT. We have been
very successful (who couldn't?) teaching novices how to run both
proton and carbon. However, COSY (we've not tried other 2-D
experiments, figuring that it would be best to get the simplest to
work first) doesn't seem to work well. We've gotten a 2-D plot, but
projections and other niceties don't seem to do well. We also would
like to do water suppression experiments and there seems to be
nothing in the library. Tecmag has been unhelpful, so I turn to the
list for advice.

I'd like to know if anyone out there has been able to do either COSY
or water suppression with the Dspect unit similar to what we have.
Of course, we were able to do these experiments with the "old" Bruker
Aspect with no problem. If you're wondering why we went over to the
Dspect, we were concerned with Y2K problems in the Aspect (they don't
seem to have been a problem.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
