Microprobe query:
I have a user who has but ~30ug of a 1017 dalton (by Mass SPec
natural product of fairly good purity. ( The molecule causes clostridia
bacteria to convert to spores at a picomolar level! )After a number of
halting steps and starts, I have been able to run an
OK 1D 1H NMR and a good-enough TOCSY in 95%H2O/5%D2O with excitation
sculpting water suppression on our 5mm TXI probe/AVANCE600 . (At this
very low concentration I found that susceptibiliy plugs yield too
large of a residual water signal.)
Is there anybody (Facility, individual lab, bootlegging NMR Manager)
out there who has a microprobe (to loan/rent?) or a day or two of high
field
spectrometer time--hopefully in the Northeast---for running things like
ROESY nd a few other 2Ds on this sample?
