power lines above the magnet

Hi all,

We are going to relocate a Bruker ARX-300 magnet (a bruker spectrospin
magnet) to make rooms for an incoming Varian 500M NMR, and there is a wire
condole(?) pipe running above the new location of the magnet. The height of
the condole pipe is 10 ft from the floor, and contains about 10-12 pair of
110V power wires. I want that removed, but I need justification since it
needs about $2000 to relocate the condole. Anyone there know if the
electrical field is going to be a problem on the magnet or the console of
ARX?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards

Wei Li
