Dear all,

Does anyone have experience about C13 SST experiment and can give me a help?

The SST is similar to steady state NOE. What we did was that we used
varian's inova500 and s2pul, put C13 in channel 1 for detecting, H1 in
channel 2 for decoupling, and C13 in channel 3 for saturating the selected
C13 peak by continuous wave modulation. The problem is that the C13 peak can
only be suppressed to 50% no matter how large power are applied to (of
course not more than 30). For proton NOE expt, using similar way (channel 1
and 2 only), we can easily suppress proton peak to 80% by power level 4.

Any comments is appreciated. Thanks for your attention.
