APS (www.apstech.com) is advertising a DVD rewriteable CD player which will
store 5.2 GB on a double sided R/W CD for $800. Reads most previous CD
formats.

Long ago there was a cleaning keyboards thread. I couldn't find our
cleaner at the time so didn't reply. Our problem isn't sticky keys,
but black gunk on top of the keys which make it hard to read the
characters (we should install sinks instead of showers by the doors?).
To clean these, we turn the keyboard upside down and spray Kmart
Bathroom cleaner with "popping foam action" on the keys, leave it
upside down for about 10 min (prop it up with a book), and then wipe
it off with a paper towel. Our keyboards have survived a few cycles
of this, but you may want to test it on an expendable machine first.

Never argue with an idiot; people watching may not
