Hi Clemens
      I think I didn't convey what I wanted to say lucidly. Indeed,
AlmaLinux can handle anything thrown at it and I concur with what you
mentioned, and that's what I wanted to say i.e. tailoring it with backend
solutions such as LDAP authentication, direct data storage into Cloud,
etc. is elegantly doable with this Linux distro.
   Typically, the Windows user base doesn't do much of this under the hood
OS level tweaking, which is common in the Linux world. I suggested the
Windows based alternative to users who like such 'install it and forget
it' environment.
