Hi all AMMRL members,
I would like to invite all AMMRL members to participate in our
next online–Zoom round-table workshop, next week, August 6that Noon EDT.
The attached announcement went out to IVAN members yesterday.
The specific topic for next week is “New NMR User Training During COVID-19”.
The meeting will be hosted by Ryan McKay of the University of Edmonton with
presentations by Geneviève Seabrook of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre,
Ken Knott of Virginia Tech and Michelle Forgeron of the University of Calgary.
This meeting is the second in our series of meetings about individual
hardware and software topics related to the efficient use of our
instrumentation - particularly related to the new challenges presented
by reopening during the pandemic.
Krish Krishnamurthy has just announced that the first workshop to address
research issues will take place the week of August 24th, probably the 26th or 27th.
Dr. Roberto Gil from Carnegie Melon University will lead a panel to discuss
structural elucidation. The title will be “The Anisotropic NMR Trilogy: RDCs,
RCSAs and RQCs". Contact Krish (chempacker_at_gmail.com)<mailto:chempacker_at_gmail.com)> if you have ideas
for other topics or if you would like to be a panelist.
