AMMRL: Suggestions requested for base line noise

Dear AMMRL members,

I am requesting your suggestions regarding baseline noise spikes that we observed while recording NMR in our Agilents's 500 MHz with Inova-Unity console.

I am attaching one 1H nmr spectrum of a 4Hz-d2o sample. In addition to a spinning side bands around the HDO signal, we noticed several baseline spikes that are separated by 120 Hz. We also noticed the same (spikes separated by 120 Hz) with deuterium (tn='lk') nmr of the same sample. The spikes are noticeable especially around large signals.


I will appreciate if any of you have any suggestions.
