Subject: AMMRL: NMR interpretation courses for absolute beginners?
Hi --
Are there any reliable courses available for industrial chemists to learn the basics of NMR spectral interpretation? I have two people (a scientist and a technician) who are interested in learning to 'read' NMR spectra, but I don't know of any good courses to point them to. Pittcon usually offers courses for other analytical techniques, but it typically doesn't offer anything on NMR spectroscopy. Should I look for a class at the ACS conferences, or are there other possibilities available?
The scientist has some experience with NMR spectroscopy; the technician has none. In both cases, I'd rather find a course for absolute beginners than overwhelm them immediately.
Feel free to message me privately with suggestions.
Thank you!
