AMMRL: 3D gradient shimming on Agilent VNMRS system

Hello,

I learned that the 3D gradient shimming macros on Agilent systems with
Z-only PFG works very well from a summary post, 'shimming high order
XYZ shims', in the 2009 ammrl archive. Could someone please show me the
detailed procedures on how to use the 3D gradient shimming macros? What
sample/solvent should be used? Or does it matter? There seems to be not
much relevant information on the web. We have Agilent/Varian VNMRS
system using VnmrJ 2.3A. Thanks in advance.
