Dear spinlanders-
We recently have had a new manager take over at the facility a couple buildings away where I fill my liquid N2 dewar (unfortunately, the Chemistry building does not have its own silo). They are imposing pretty strict rules on personal protection equipment that must be worn while filling dewars, included of which are long pants and full face shield (which would be just marvy filling outdoors with the recent heat wave here in the midwest!)
So I'm curious as to what rules are imposed at your facility- if you fill your own dewars on campus. (I'll post a summary)
