We are thrilled to have ordered a new 600MHz high-resolution spectrometer and
500 wide-bore solids spectrometer (Bruker). Our magnet lab is at ground level
and we need an additional 0.5m for He fills.

We are currently at the planning and design stage. Suggestions, photos,
potential problems and solutions, aesthetic inspirations - all would be
welcome.

Of particular interest:
*What safety measures were taken against filling the bore with water in case of
leaks/floods?

*What safety measures were taken against folks falling into the pit?

*Was the 5 gauss line part of considering the bore dimensions?

*Where do folks stand when inserting the sample?

*Special considerations for probe changes? (i.e. shelves to store the probe
inside the pit to reduce transport accidents?)

Many thanks,
Yael
