AMMRL Commentators:
We need to monitor fairly continuously forward and reflected
power and pulse shapes for solids power level 300MHz pulses
and are wondering what NMR shops are using these days for
the task. Part of the task is to look at fairly short, 5us,
pulses as well.
Our beloved two analog Tektronix 2465A 400MHz scopes are somewhere
between the expensive-to-repair and no-parts-available stage. It
seems time to bite the bullet and break into the digital scope
world.
The AMMRL Archives have a few scattered oscilloscope queries and
comments but I did not find much to go and buy on.
I will post a summary of any comments on oscilloscopes currently
available on the market and their utility in NMR labs.
Thanks
Charlie Dickinson
