To my friends in the AMMRL community:
I have just retired from my position as Director of the Chemical
Instrumentation Center at Yale University, after 22 years. Although I
have not been directly involved in the search for my replacement, I know
an ad has recently appeared in Chemical and Engineering News. This is a
terriffic opportunity in a very good department, and anyone who might be
interested ought to apply ASAP. I am off for several weeks of travel
with my son, so will not be available to discuss my experiences with
interested persons. I will check my Yale email, but I do not anticipate
I will be in a position to respond in any length until after the middle
of August.
I have enjoyed being a part of this group since its founding, and have
learned a lot from my participation. It is a great resource, and I am
sure will continue to be so. Despite missing the past 3 ENCs, I hope to
make it to the upcoming meeting in Providence, so I expect to see many
of you there.
Best wishes, and happy spin flipping,
Ben Bangerter
