Decoupler power instability on Unity 400

I have seen an intermittent fluctuation in the decoupling power on a Varian
Unity 400 spectrometer. Approximately 90% of the time the decoupler is
steady at dpwr 41 and using waltz decoupling. However, there are times when
an acquired 13-C spectrum appears incompletely decoupled. I believe this is
the result of a lowering in decoupling power. I was once able to catch the
problem while calculating dmf with the dioxane sample. In that case I had to
increase dpwr to 46 to obtain the same gamma-h2 and dmf (as normally used at
dpwr=41).

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem?

Thanks,
Vernon Russell
