Dear Group,
Alex Grushow and I have posted a new and improved version of the NMR
tutorial I spoke about at the 2001 AMMRL meeting in Orlando. It can be
found by going to
http://arrhenius.rider.edu/nmr, and clicking on "NMR
Tutorial". The tutorial is still aimed at undergraduates, particularly
those just being introduced to NMR. The main addition is the group of
exercises that can be accessed by the "NMR Problems" button in the
left-hand frame. This section includes 15 questions on Data Acqusition
and Processing and 30 each on 1H and 13C interpretation. Twenty of the
interpretation problems feature step-by-step solutions.
We hope that this resource is useful to those of you who teach
undergraduates. If you have any comments or suggestions about the
tutorial, please address them to me. I can be reached at the email
address listed below until the end of August. After that, it will be
easiest to contact me through my home email. at ajbrandolini_at_aol.com.
Thanks,
Anita
