Dear Group,
Thanks for all replys that I received regarding the appropriate size (KVA) of a UPS for
Varian Inova, 4 channel, WFG, PFG, Varian 28 shims.
To summarize, the consensus was that 4.5 probably would be fine, but 6 KVA would be
safe for sure. Since my experience with the 6KVA confirms that, we will not try to save
$$$ by going with the 4.5KVA.
There was a range of UPS sizes used on the INOVA console ranging from 3KVA (2 channel,
WFG, no PFG, Sun Ultra5 and monitor) to 10KVA.
