RF/ NMR ProbeDesign Engineers in our Palo Alto, CA headquarters, in the

This is an opportunity to embark on a rich, complex learning experience
utilizing your
cross-disciplinary technical knowledge and hands-on practical skills to
design and develop state-of-the-art high-resolution NMR probes.
J0B DESCRIPTION: Working as part of a product development team, the
successful candidate will be responsible for the practical
implementation of new technologies into NMR probe products while
emphasizing manufacturability. The technical emphasis is on
electromagnetic and physical performance of resonant and non-resonant
circuits and structures in the 20MHZ to 1GHZ frequency range.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in Engineering, Physics, or related field, and 1-2 years working experience, OR
MS in Engineering, Physics, or related field. Cross-disciplinary
studies and/or interests strongly preferred.
Hands-on experiences as well as theoretical knowledge is strongly
preferred.
Knowledge of one or more of the following: analog RF or microwave
engineering, transmission lines, antennas and general knowledge of
microwave hardware, NMR hardware and/or cryogenic technology. Other
helpful knowledge includes: CAD drawing, machining and fabrication,
knowledge of Chemistry.
