sizing a UPS

Dear AMMRL,

  In the past I have put Varian Inova consoles (2 cabinet variety, 4
channels, gradients, WFG) on 6KVA UPS
but this seemed bigger than necessary -- as they only run at about 50%
capacity.

  I know from experience that 3KVA is not big enough. Can someone share
there experience? Will 4.5 KVA
be big enough for the console alone?
