wavetek repairs

howdy

from the emails i've seen around here, i know that
WAVETEK is no longer in business and we can't find
their frequency sweep generators anymore.

i am also aware of morris instruments' units, but
they only seem to go to 600MHz, and i need higher
frequencies.

i have an old wavetek model 1080 (1-1000MHz) that
i've used alot but is now acting like it's broken
(frequency number jumps around alot, and regardless
of whether the output mode is in full sweep, deltaF,
or CW mode, the output signal looks the same).

i was wondering if anyone was aware of any third
party vendors that might REPAIR these units.

any help to get the unit working, or if there's
something like the existing frequency sweeper unit
which goes upto, say 900MHz, would be much appreciated.
