Sensitivity of 600 MHz systems

Dear Friends,
I have a question for those of you who have 600/51 spectrometer systems,
particularly in less than optimal conditions. In your experience is a 600
system any more susceptible to room temperature variations or magnetic
field perturbations caused by moving metal objects near the 5 gauss line
than a 500/51system?
