Requirements:
B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry.
Experience in NMR spectroscopy: interpretation, instrument operations and
maintenance (prefer 2 years experience).
Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Job Description:
Support core workload for NMR analyses. Perform analytical characterization
and problem-solving using NMR spectroscopy. Provide interpretation of
results and report results to customers.
Operate and maintain NMR instruments.
Provide training for chemists: open-access NMR operations and off-line data
processing.
Support archiving of NMR data. Evaluate and support NMR prediction software.
Follow safe laboratory practices.
The following would be considered a plus:
Familiarity with Bruker operating software and instrumentation.
Familiarity with UNIX.
Familiarity with other spectroscopic methods: FT-IR, UV/Vis, MS.
Familiarity with chromatographic/separation methods.
