I'm cleaning out a storage shed and will be recycling a lot of old
Varian manuals and misc. NMR papers and brochures.
I found manuals for the old Varian EM ,CFT, Gemini XL. VXR, Unity ect.
If you want anything let me know.
Also if there is anyone out there that remembers a Company from the 60's called
NMR Specialties Inc. from New Kensington PA . I have some blueprints of some
of their old equipment . They made some of the first Heteronuclear Spin Decoupler
accessories used in NMR on a Varian A60 . The Brochure shows spectra of proton
with P31 and N14 decoupling done by Dr Paul Lauterbur sometime in the 60's. o
These boxes have a lot of NMR history from pre FT forward.
I understand that anyone having a need for any of this is very unlikely but I thought
it worthwhile to make sure before it is discarded. If you know someone who maintains
a collection of material showing the development of NMR or MRI instrumentation this
might be of some informational use to them.
